The breakfast was absolutely delightful, with several
fresh and delicious options to choose from. I particularly loved the omelet station. However, the room we stayed in could have used a bit more modern decor, which felt slightly outdated for the price.

beautiful grounds , but room amenities need improvement
The grounds were stunning! I particularly enjoyed the well-maintained lawn and the lovely flowers. The dinner at the restaurant was truly a highlight with its exquisite flavors. Also, the surrounding trails provided a peaceful escape that added to our experience.
The amenities in the King Room were not as impressive as expected, especially for the price paid.

The good outweighs the bad (barely)
The property is charming, with friendly staff and excellent meals that delight the senses. The spa offers a relaxing experience and the grounds provide a picturesque setting for a beautiful getaway.
One drawback was the lack of amenities in the area for evening entertainment, along with the high prices for additional services which felt somewhat excessive for what was offered.

This is what stood out
The breathtaking atmosphere and exceptional service truly made my stay memorable! My clean and beautifully furnished room offered all essential amenities. The dinner was a culinary delight, especially the prime rib! A relaxing spa visit added the perfect touch to our getaway. Don't miss their friendly staff who ensured everything was perfect!

The culinary finds here are epic, especially the fresh salads that pop with flavor! Paired with friendly service during dinner, you can't go wrong. The trails surrounding the property are a real treat for nature lovers, offering a peaceful vibe that makes you want to stay a little longer.
Although I was buzzing to hit the spa, it closed early and didn’t offer much beyond a tiny sauna. I felt misled. don’t call yourself a ‘spa’ if there’s only one small option. Still, the serene setting kept things shining bright.

Had a great time with friends! We enjoyed the beautiful grounds overlooking the pond and the festive atmosphere at the wedding venue. The brunch was included and delicious. Staff were friendly and attentive, making our stay enjoyable. I recommend checking out the spa services and the stunning Carriage House for events.
One downside was the room pricing, which felt a bit high for the amenities offered. We stayed in a room that was supposed to have queen beds but ended up with doubles.

definitely will visit place next time
Enjoyed a spacious King room with a jacuzzi and a lovely view. The facility includes a fitness center and a relaxing spa and wellness center perfect for unwinding. The dining was delish, especially the chef's prime rib. A cozy spot to disconnect and rejuvenate in a historic setting.

The stay was enjoyable, especially the breakfast buffet that had a wide variety of delicious options. The grounds were beautiful, and the kids loved playing by the pond with its lovely fountain. The staff went above and beyond, making our large family feel welcomed.
In my wife’s opinion, having no hot tubs was a letdown for families. A few more amenities for kids would make it even better.

The property is beautiful and offers a peaceful atmosphere, which I really enjoyed during my one-night stay. The dinner was excellent, with a creative chef that made the experience memorable. While I wish there had been a tub in the room for a relaxing soak, the comfortable bed and outstanding breakfast made my stay worthwhile. The staff, especially my server Brenda, provided exceptional service, making it a more pleasant experience overall.

missingWrote a review on 05 Julbeautiful decorfresh breakfastspa servicesdated room
The dining area features beautiful decor that hints at the history of the place, while the breakfast selection includes fresh fruits and pastries that keep things edible. The spa services shine, providing a relaxing atmosphere with a solid menu of treatments that add a touch of luxury to your stay.
The room itself feels dated, with furniture and decor in need of a serious update. upon entering, the dampness hit me right away, making it feel overdue for a renovation. The breakfast consistently served the same items, which can get old if you're staying more than a night, and the hot breakfast items were often cold, resulting in a frustrating meal experience. Issues with cleanliness and a lack of updates stood out as personal disappointments, especially given the price point for the stay.

We had a fantastic stay and really loved the peaceful atmosphere and the breathtaking view from our room overlooking the forest. The spa was a perfect escape, and we enjoyed relaxing on the sun terrace, soaking up the serenity. One small hiccup was the slight wait for dinner, but it didn't dampen our overall delight. definitely try the salmon! 🌟

Perfect for a cozy escape
Had a delightful stay with my fiancée for her birthday! The breakfast buffet was absolutely top-tier, hands down the best hot breakfast we’ve had at a hotel, and the self-made waffles were incredible!
It wasn’t exactly cheap, but worth it for the experience
